LinkMyDeals categories are based upon Google's classification of products and hence aims to be a standard way for affiliate marketers. Here is a list of categories that we have https://support.linkmydeals.com/kb/faq.php?id=2

But its not compulsory for you to use these categories, you can map your own categories that you wish to display on your website using our category mapping feature. 

This is feature is extremely helpful especially if you have a WordPress website. In WordPress, if you existing category name differs from LinkMyDeals list of categories (example men's fashion and men's apparel / shoes and footwear), then a new category is created on your website

Thus, in order to avoid duplicate categories and map all your coupons to that duplicate category, you need to use the category mapping feature.

Here is how you can do that:

1. Log in to your LinkMyDeals account
2. Click on mappings > category mapping
3. Here you will be able to see a list of all categories
4. Just enter the category slug as on your website under the custom category name box
5. Click on save mappings

Note: LinkMyDeals has decided to make some changes in the Coupons Categories. These changes will be in effect from 26th June 2023.
